On a gloomy November morning, I hopped on the Paris metro to L'Arrière Boutique Studio in the 5th arrondissement. The drizzle outside couldn’t dampen my excitement—I was about to voice HR Manager Nadia in Crédit Agricole’s web series on Cyber Security. Greeted warmly by the CAPA Corporate team and five fellow voice over artists, I knew this session would be special.
In the studio, we gathered around a table, each with our own microphone. It wasn’t the usual solitary VO booth experience. Instead, this was an ensemble performance, where our voices blended, bounced, and brought the script to life.
The process was electric. We adapted to one another’s timing, experimented with delivery, and refined each scene collaboratively. Seeing how each artist interpreted their role was inspiring—this wasn’t just recording; it was co-creating.
What made this session truly memorable was the camaraderie. It’s rare to interact with other VO talents during a recording, and I soaked up every moment. The CAPA team created an atmosphere that was equal parts professional and playful, ensuring the best performances while keeping the energy light and fun.
By the end of the day, I walked away with more than just a recording. I gained insights, connections, and an unforgettable experience of teamwork.
