Stepping into the world of art and beauty is always a privilege, but my recent project at the Musée du Louvre took that to another level. I had the incredible opportunity to lend my voice to "De Toutes Beautés," a collaboration between the Louvre Museum and L'Oréal Groupe. This unique experience celebrates beauty through the ages, connecting timeless masterpieces with modern audiences.
The recording took place with Anatole Studio (based in Lyon), using SessionLinkPro to seamlessly connect my home studio with theirs. With the agency Nuits Noires and clients from the Louvre Museum listening in, I embarked on a vocal journey through history. Over the course of three hours, I narrated audioguides for nine remarkable artworks, each offering a distinct perspective on beauty across different cultures and eras.
From embodying Princess Nefertiabet as she proudly presents her treasures, to stepping into the shoes of Ummayat, reminiscing about her life at the heart of ancient empires, each piece told a fascinating story. One of the most memorable moments was voicing the Sleeping Hermaphroditus bringing to life the delicate balance of masculinity and femininity captured in marble.
Next time you visit the Louvre, consider exploring "De Toutes Beautés". You can even listen to my voice from the comfort of wherever you are right now, guiding you through the following artworks:
